As altosaxophonist and bassoonist I've been active in improvised, contemporary and classical music since 1979. Since 2014 I added the baritone saxophone to my instruments.

Groups I played with include Hoketus, Loos, JC Tans Orchestra, Sean Bergin's MOB, BikBentBraam, Corrie van Binsbergen Group and my own Trio Continuo.

 

I worked in theatreproductions with Ro-theater, De Nederlandse Opera, Het Barre Land, to name but a few.

 

I am currently a member of the David Kweksilber Bigband, the Ives Ensemble, l'Orchestra Particolare and my own quartet, "Mixing Memory and Desire", with Felicity Provan on trumpet/cornet, Raoul van der Weide, bass, and George Hadow, drums.

Apart from that I am playing improvised music in many ad hoc combinations.
